1. Our commitment to accessibility
PulsePanels is committed to making its products usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, keyboard-only navigation, or voice control.
We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. As we design, build and revise our interfaces, we aim to identify and remove barriers that would prevent people from perceiving, understanding, navigating and interacting with our software.
2. Scope of this statement
This statement applies to the two surfaces we control directly:
- This marketing website, including our public pages and this Legal & Trust Center.
- The PulsePanels web dashboard used by customers to manage screens, content and settings.
This statement does not cover third-party websites or services that we may link to, nor the accessibility of content that customers author and publish to their own screens. See the note on customer-authored content below.
3. Standard we aim to meet
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard for the marketing website and the web dashboard.
4. Measures we take
In pursuit of our target standard, we apply the following practices across the surfaces in scope. These describe our general approach and are not a guarantee that every page meets every criterion.
- Using semantic HTML and document structure so that headings, lists, tables and landmarks convey meaning to assistive technologies.
- Supporting keyboard navigation so that interactive controls can be reached and operated without a pointing device.
- Considering colour contrast between text and background when choosing our palette.
- Building responsive, zoomable layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and to browser zoom and text resizing.
- Publishing legal and trust documents in a print-friendly format so they can be read, saved or printed as plain, high-contrast text.
We continue to refine these practices as we learn more and as guidelines and assistive technologies evolve.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of our surfaces may not yet meet our target standard. The limitations we know about are:
- Some editors in the web dashboard rely on drag-and-drop, such as the channel, canvas and layout editors. These may be hard to use with a keyboard only or with a screen reader.
- Content shown on screens is created by customers, so its accessibility depends on the customer (see section 6).
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we would like to hear about it so we can prioritise a fix. See how to report accessibility problems below.
6. Customer-authored on-screen content
PulsePanels is a platform that customers use to design, schedule and publish their own digital-signage content. The accessibility of the playback content shown on a customer's screens — including text, imagery, colour choices, captions and timing — is authored by the customer and is the customer's responsibility.
7. Reporting accessibility problems
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our marketing website and web dashboard. If you find a barrier, please contact us so we can investigate. Send accessibility reports to our support team at support@pulsepanels.com.
When you report a problem, it helps to include the page or screen where you found it, a description of the barrier, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.
8. What to expect after you report
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days. We will then look into the problem and tell you what we plan to do. Where we cannot fix a barrier quickly, we will try to offer another way to get the information or complete the task.
9. Review and updates
We review this statement at least once a year, and sooner when our products change in ways that affect accessibility.
The date this statement was last updated is shown at the top of this page.
