1. Scope
This limited warranty ("Warranty") is provided by Technoserve W.L.L. ("we", "us") and applies to signage media players and Android boxes supplied directly by us. It is provided to the original purchaser and, unless stated otherwise, is not transferable.
Commercial displays that we resell are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, not by this Warranty — see section 6. This Warranty also does not cover customer-owned or third-party devices, even where those devices run PulsePanels player software.
2. Warranty period
The warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery.
Proof of purchase may be required to determine the delivery date and confirm that a claim falls within the warranty period.
3. What is covered
During the warranty period, we warrant that hardware we supply directly will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and in accordance with any applicable product documentation.
If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, your remedy is limited to the options described in the Remedy and limitations section below.
4. What is not covered
This Warranty does not cover, and we are not responsible under this Warranty for, any of the following:
- Accidental or physical damage, including drops, impacts, spills and liquid ingress.
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or use outside the product's documented operating conditions or specifications.
- Unauthorised modification, disassembly or repair, including rooting the device or flashing unauthorised firmware or operating-system images, or service performed by anyone other than us or a party we have authorised.
- Damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, faulty electrical supply, or use of unapproved power sources or cabling.
- Environmental damage, including from heat, humidity, dust, corrosion, pests or exposure to conditions beyond the product's rated environment.
- Consumable parts and normal wear and tear, including cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs or fading that does not affect function.
- Displays, panels or televisions — including commercial displays we resell, which are covered by their manufacturer's warranty (see section 6).
- Third-party accessories, peripherals or components not supplied by us.
- Software issues, configuration, content delivery or connectivity problems, which are addressed under the Support Policy rather than this Warranty.
- Normal end-of-life, including expected degradation of components over time.
5. Customer-owned devices
PulsePanels player software is designed to run on a wide range of devices and platforms. Many customers run it on hardware they already own or purchase from third parties.
6. Displays we resell
Commercial displays that we resell are covered by the warranty of their manufacturer, on that manufacturer's terms. If a display we supplied develops a fault, contact us and we will help you coordinate the claim with the manufacturer.
7. How to make a claim
- Email support@pulsepanels.com with the device's serial number, your proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
- We assess the reported issue, which may include remote troubleshooting, to determine whether it is covered by this Warranty.
- If a return is needed, we issue a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number and the address to send the device to.
- Pack the device securely, mark the RMA number on the package, and send it to the address provided.
Do not return hardware before you have received an RMA number and return instructions.
8. Remedy and limitations
Where a claim is accepted, we will, at our option, repair the hardware or replace it with the same or an equivalent model. Replacement or repaired hardware may be new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability. Subject to mandatory law, repair or replacement is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Warranty.
This Warranty is subject to the disclaimers and the limitation of liability set out in the PulsePanels Terms of Service. Nothing in this Warranty increases our liability beyond what is stated there.
See the Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability: /legal/terms.
9. Statutory rights
10. Shipping and logistics costs
- You pay the cost of sending the device to us, including any insurance you choose to take out.
- We pay the cost of returning the repaired or replacement device to you within the State of Qatar.
- For customers outside the State of Qatar, return shipping, insurance, duties and taxes are handled by arrangement with us at the time of the claim.
