1. Ownership of your content

Content you upload, create, schedule or publish through PulsePanels ("Customer Content") remains yours. PulsePanels does not claim ownership of Customer Content.

You grant PulsePanels a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, cache, process, transcode, transmit and display Customer Content solely as needed to operate the services and deliver your content to the screens and players you designate.

2. Your responsibility for rights and licences

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold all rights, licences, consents and permissions necessary to display Customer Content on your screens, including in public or commercial spaces.

  • This includes copyright, trademark, image/publicity rights, music and performance licences, stock-media licences, and any font or design licences.
  • Public display of music, films or broadcasts may require separate licences from rights bodies in your jurisdiction; obtaining them is your responsibility.
  • You are responsible for content produced by third parties on your behalf and for content sourced from third-party apps and feeds you enable.

3. Prohibited and unlawful content

You must not upload, publish or distribute through PulsePanels any content that is unlawful or that violates this policy or the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited content includes, without limitation:

  • Content that infringes another party's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Illegal content, or content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
  • Child sexual abuse material — which we report and act on to the fullest extent required by law.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred against people or groups.
  • Malware, phishing, or content designed to deceive or defraud.
  • Sexually explicit or age-inappropriate content displayed in public or shared spaces contrary to law or venue rules.
  • Content that violates applicable advertising, consumer-protection or broadcast regulations.

5. Takedown requests

Where we receive a valid complaint, or otherwise become aware of infringing or unlawful content, we may remove or disable access to that content and, where appropriate, notify the customer responsible. We may reinstate content following a valid counter-notice or where a complaint is withdrawn or found to be invalid. Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

6. External URLs and embedded content

PulsePanels lets you display external URLs, web pages, embedded widgets and third-party feeds on your screens. You are responsible for the content, licensing and legality of anything you embed or link to, and for ensuring embedded sources permit such use. PulsePanels does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, which may change without notice.

7. QR codes

Where you display QR codes, you are responsible for the destinations they point to and for ensuring those destinations are safe, lawful and appropriate for your audience. You must not use QR codes to direct viewers to malicious, deceptive or unlawful destinations.

8. Third-party applications and integrations

Some PulsePanels apps and integrations display content sourced from third-party services (for example social feeds, review sites, maps or weather). Your use of such content must comply with the relevant third party's terms, and you are responsible for having the rights to display it. PulsePanels is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party content.

9. Suspension of abusive content

While PulsePanels does not pre-screen Customer Content, we reserve the right — but are not obliged — to review content and to remove, disable or suspend content or accounts that we reasonably believe are clearly abusive, unlawful, or in breach of this policy or the Acceptable Use Policy. Where practical and lawful, we will aim to give notice, but we may act immediately where content poses a legal, security or safety risk.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
